Hi, I'm Charlotte Jones and I'm a children's illustrator from the Midlands in the UK! I work across both Oxfordshire and the East Midlands.

My illustrative work has been recognised by two prestigious national awards for illustration:

• 2nd place at the Penguin Cover Design Award, Children's Category 2022

• Highly Commended at the Macmillan Prize for Illustration 2023.

I have a passion for storytelling, bright colours and

bringing characters to life with quirky expressions.

My biggest creative inspirations are the beauty of everyday life, nature, and our connections with one another, which allow me to create playful and authentic illustrations. I aim to create children’s illustrations that fully immerse young readers in a story’s charm and make them fall in love with storytelling through art, the way I did in my own childhood.

Outside of illustration, I am a talented marketer and graphic designer in higher education. I was recently awarded 'Best Marketing Campaign' at the Higher Education 2025 CUBO Awards. With a keen interest in education, I am also interested in editorial pieces for children's activity and educational books.
